I love leading others to discover how understanding the life & ministry of Jesus can transform their faith.
I have organized and led tours throughout the Middle East for years. I love to bring people to the Holy Land so they can experience firsthand the places found in the Bible.
After a successful career in PR and Marketing, I felt called to prepare for a second career in ministry. I closed my business and enrolled in Denver Seminary, where I earned my master’s
in biblical studies.
I currently serve as a Bible teacher at Cherry Hills Community Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I live in Denver, with my husband Rich, and our fluffy dog, Finley.

Who I really am.
I love to talk about Jesus. Not in a preachy way, but in a way that brings his story to life. Since becoming a Christian at the age of 25, I have been fascinated by his life.
For decades, the whirlwind of everyday life—raising three kids, starting and running a small business, managing a household of five, plus some dogs and other various pets—kept me from digging deeper into the life of Jesus.
In 2010, I shuttered my business and went back to school. It took five years, but I earned my master’s in biblical studies from Denver Seminary. Now I have a diploma on my wall to prove that I am a total Bible nerd.
Despite years of study and seminary classes, I still had lingering questions about Jesus.
Questions like:
● How exactly did his ministry unfold?
● What happened day to day, when, where and why?
● Who was there and what was said?
The salient details of Jesus’ life on earth matter to me, as they should to all followers of Jesus.
Now I get to teach others about what I have learned.
I’m a Denver native who loves being married to Rich. We have three amazing adult children and two precious grandchildren. I love to cheer for the Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche.
When I am not studying or teaching, you can find me doing Pilates, skiing, or planning my next trip with Rich. Mostly I love to spend time talking about Jesus and hanging out with my best buddy, Finley. He is always by my side.
I have had the opportunity to sit in on Sandy’s teachings about Jesus and they have been wonderful. Even though I have been a Christian for 40+ years they have allowed me to see Jesus in a fresh and new way.

I’ve studied the gospels and the life of Jesus for years. I’ve compiled dozens of stories about Jesus to give readers insight into him, his message, and mission on earth.
The book has a scholarly foundation and is still easy-to-follow. I cover the earthly life of Jesus, from his birth in Bethlehem to his death and resurrection outside the old city walls of Jerusalem. As readers study key events in his life, they will discover the Jesus they long to know, and develop a stronger connection to him. Stories from all four gospels are included, with religious, cultural, and historical background provided, plus insightful reflections on the meaning of his teachings for us today.
