Outline

When ten broken men called out from a distance, Jesus didn’t turn away. What happened next changed more than their bodies—it restored one soul.

There are seasons when life feels small. You keep doing what needs to be done, but deep down, you wonder if anyone still notices you. Maybe you’ve been through something painful, or you’ve just felt invisible for far too long. It’s easy to wonder if God has moved on.

That’s where ten lepers found themselves the day Jesus came near their village. They were living outside the city, separated from everything that once made them feel alive. When they saw Him, they called out for mercy. Before Jesus healed them, He saw them. He didn’t turn away. He looked right at them and said, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.”

Nothing about them had changed right away, but they trusted Him enough to start walking. Somewhere along the road, the miracle began. As their skin cleared, their pain began to ease.

Of the ten, only one man turned back. He was a Samaritan, an outsider among outsiders. He ran to Jesus, fell at His feet, and thanked Him. And that’s when Jesus said, “Your faith has made you well.”

Ten were healed, but only one was made whole.

This miracle is our reminder that no matter what, Jesus sees us, and his grace can redeem our stories and restore our souls.
