Jesus Made Wine Out of Water…For Real?!
Listen or watch on your favorite platform
The first miracle Jesus ever performed wasn’t about showing power on a mountaintop. It was about saving someone else’s honor at a party.
When the wine ran out at a wedding, it wasn’t just inconvenient. It was humiliating. Quietly, without a spotlight or a sermon, Jesus stepped in. He told the servants to fill the jars with water, and the ordinary became extraordinary.
As a wedding officiant, I’ve stood close enough to see the weight of a promise—the way two people look at each other when they say forever. That’s what moves me about this story. Jesus began His ministry at a celebration of love. He delights in joy. He honors commitment. He cares about details no one else notices.
If He cared enough to protect a family’s dignity at a small-town wedding, He cares about the details of your life too. When joy feels distant or hope runs dry, He fills what’s empty—and He fills it to the brim.
